Mahle Leads Choo-Choo By One Shot

Matt Mahle, a sophomore at the College of Charleston, shot a 7-under 65 on Monday and took the lead in the Choo-Choo Invitational at Council Fire.

Mahle, who hit 15 greens in regulation, leads defending champion Ben Wolcott by one shot.

Brandon Rogers shot 67 and is two shots ahead of Davin White and former Chattanoogan Nick Blakely.

Chris Hall sho t66 and leads the senior division by five shots over Tom Provow and Chattanooga's Neil Spitalny.

UTC golfers Kory Webb and Brooks Thomas shot 72 along with Chattanooga Christian senior Luke Johnson.
