John Ray Arbuckle, 66, of Cohutta, GA, died Thursday morning, July 24, 2014 at his home.
John was born September 16, 1947 in Mesa, AZ, to the late Kenneth Arbuckle and Lela Barnett Arbuckle; andwas also preceded in death by a brother, Jerry Arbuckle; and sisters, Beverly Haines and Barbara Arbuckle.
He worked for Mohawk Industries.
He is survived by his wife, Brenda York Arbuckle; daughters, Angela Renee Payne & husband James Otis Payne of Kokomo, IN; step-daughter, Ina May Jordan of Corinth, MS; step-son, Richard Seals, Corinth, MS; brothers, Ronnie & wife Cindy Arbuckle of York, PA, Jimmie & wife Loraine Arbuckle of Gosham, IN, Kenny Jr. & wife Pat Arbuckle of Fort Payne, IN, Larry & wife Gladys Arbuckle of Rochester, IN, Danny & wife Betty Arbuckle of Cohutta, GA and Dick & wife Pam Arbuckle of Kokomo, IN; sisters, Penny Peters of Kokomo, IN, Betty Arbuckle, of Peru, IN and Tara & husband Ron Sallee of Kokomo, IN; and grandchildren, Cassanera Arbuckle, Alan Woods, Jeffrey Vogel, Levi Wilson and Shelby Jordan.
Services to celebrate the life of John Ray Arbuckle will be Monday, July 28, at12:30 p.m. at Chattanooga National Cemetery, with American Legion Post 112 in charge of the graveside military rites and Reverend Paul Armstrong officiating.
The family will receive friends at Ponders Melrose Chapel from 9-11:30 a.m. on Monday, July 28.
