Charles W. “Buddy” Hatfield, 72, died on Thursday, July 24, 2014, at home.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Laura Hatfield; sisters, Betty Smartt, Barbara Bowers, and Peggy Smith.
Survivors include his wife, Nell Hatfield of Soddy Daisy; sister, Charline Taylor of Soddy Daisy, and several nieces and nephews.
The funeral service will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday, July 26, at Williamson & Sons Funeral Home chapel with Reverend Grant Chauncey officiating. Interment will follow in Varner Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 5-8 p.m. on Friday, July 25, at the funeral home.
