Browning, Charlica Diane (Cleveland)

Charlcia Diane Browning, 67, of Cleveland, TN, passed away Monday July 21, 2014 in a Chattanooga hospital. 

She was the daughter of the late Jack and Mary Ellen Hurst; and was also preceded in death by a brother, Jack Hurst Jr.; and a sister, Joyce Cofer.

Mrs. Browning was retired from Bishop Baking with over 15 years of service and was a member Fairview Worship Church in Cleveland.

Survivors include her daughter, Kesha Webb and her husband Larry of Old Fort; two sons, Timothy Shillings of Harriman, TN and Kenny Hughes and his wife Amanda of Duff, TN; seven grandchildren; one great-grandchild; her sister, Frances Wilmeth of Rockwood, TN; and several nieces and nephews.

A Remembrance of Life memorial service will be held at 6 p.m. Thursday, July 24 at Fairview Worship with Pastor Jackie Epperson and Assistant Pastor Larry Webb officiating. 

The family requests that donations be made in Mrs. Browning’s honor to the Kidney Foundation of Greater Chattanooga Area Inc., P.O. Box 28105 Chattanooga TN., 37424. The family would also encourage everyone to consider being an organ donor to help save a life. 

The Wildwood Ave. Chapel of the Jim Rush Funeral Homes has charge of the arrangements.
