Faith Vinette Gilliam, 86, of Chattanooga, died on Tuesday, April 15, 2014 at Alexian Brothers Nursing Home on Signal Mountain.
She was born on March 2, 1928 in Ohio.
Faith was preceded in death by her parents, George and Irene Hensley; her guardians, Luther and Esther Lee Stokes; her brothers, Franklin Hensley, Rev. J.R. Hensley and Hilman Hensley; her sisters, Bessie Jane Hensley, Mae Maria Hixson, Katie Pearl Dunn, Rosa Frances Harden and Esther Lee Stokes.
Faith is survived by her brother, Loyal Hensley of Ohio; her sisters, Vinette Caldwell of Nashville, and Jean Potts of Tennessee; her caregiver, LaCreta Simmons and several nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be at 11 a.m. on Friday, April 18, at Williamson & Sons Funeral Home with Bishop Mitch McClure officiating. Burial will follow in Potts Cemetery on Flat Top Mountain.
Visitation is from 4-8 p.m. on Thursday at the funeral home.
