Donald Roberson
Donald Roberson, Sr., 74 of Soddy Daisy, Tennessee, died at his home in Soddy Daisy on December 26, 2014.
Don was preceded in death by his parents, Johnny and Mildred Roberson.
Don is survived by his wife, Patsy of 54 years; son, Donnie (Faye) Roberson; daughters, Cheryl Vanwinkle (Chris Smith) and Teresa (Greg) Everheart; three brothers, one sister and 12 grandchildren, Jimbo, Alisha (Bobby), April, Steven, Alisha S., Anthony, Kelly (Michael), Kenny (Linsay), and Tiffany; eight great-grandchildren, Haydon, James, Gaige, Gavin, Maddie, Kenna, Garrett, Keeton.
He was the owner and operator of Don’s VW Repair Shop for 35 years. He belonged to the Antique Car Club for 25 years and was on the board for two years.
The family will receive friends on Monday, Dec. 29, from 4-8 p.m. at Chattanooga Funeral Home-North Chapel and on Tuesday from 12-2 p.m.
Funeral service for Don will be conducted at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 30, in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Ronnie Place officiating.
Interment will follow in Hamilton Memorial Gardens.
Arrangements are by the Chattanooga Funeral Home Crematory and Florist, North Chapel, Highway 153, Hixson, Tn. 37343.
