Police followed three burglary suspects on Friday morning and captured one of them after their vehicle wrecked at a veterinary clinic on East Brainerd Road.
At 10:20 a.m., police were notified of a burglary in progress at a residence at 9522 Fuller Road. The suspects were described as three black males.
The suspects took several items from the residence and left in a white sedan with tinted windows. Deputies spotted the vehicle near East Brainerd Road/Gunbarrel Road.
Deputies attempted to stop the vehicle, which fled and wrecked into the Brainerd Hills Veterinary Hospital near I-75 at Roselawn Drive.
One of those in the vehicle was transported to the hospital with minor injuries.
The other two fled on foot into woods near Brainerd Hills Baptist Church and remain at large.
The car did some damage to the building.
