Rosa Mae Ryan, 65, died on December 19, 2014 in Louisville, Kentucky.

Mrs. Ryan attended Catoosa County schools. She was previously employed as a nurse with Tri County Hospital, now known as Hutcheson Medical Center and Sunny Acres Hospital in Ohio. She was a nurse and volunteer with programs for the elderly in Louisville. She was married to John Ryan 32 years.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Felton and Ocea Clark; brother, Stanley Clark, and two sons, Anthony L. Clark and Charles W. Clark.

Survivors include her children, Brenda (Darryl) Wheeler and Willie (Kenya) Clark; grandchildren, Darryl Wheeler Jr, Wykenya Wheeler ,Danarius (Camille) Clark, Christopher Clark, and Makenna Clark, Breana Swallford; great-grandchildren, Kristiana Clark, Krishana Clark, Landon Swallford; siblings, Napoleon (late Virginia) Clark Sr., Mary M. Clark, Roy L. Clark, Felton J. Clark Jr., Alonzo L. Clark, and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 12:30 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 29, in the funeral home chapel. Interment will be in Chattanooga National Cemetery, gate time 2:30 p.m. 

The body will lie in state after noon on Sunday, Dec. 28, at John P. Franklin Funeral Home, 1101 Dodds Ave., 622-9995.
