City Of Chattanooga Christmas Garbage And Recycle Collection Schedule

  • Tuesday, December 23, 2014

The City of Chattanooga announced that garbage and recycle collection scheduled for Christmas Day, Thursday, will be collected on Saturday. There are no changes in garbage or recycle collection scheduled for Christmas Eve, the day after Christmas Day, or New Year’s Day.

Residents are asked to consider recycling packaging material through curbside recycle collection or at any of the five recycling convenience centers and consider donating instead of disposing of lightly used items.

Residents may also call 311 to schedule collection of Christmas trees or use any of the recycling centers or refuse collection centers for drop-off locations.  Call 311 for additional information.
