Robert Eugene “Bob” Wilhelm, 83, of LaFayette, GA, passed away on Tuesday, December 16, 2014.
Bob was born to the late Paul Joseph Wilhelm and Nellie Irene Riley Wilhelm. He was a member of the St. Gerard Catholic Church. Bob was retired from the Georgia Forestry Commission.
He was also preceded in death by his brother, Joe Wilhelm.
He is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Katie M. Chapman Wilhelm of LaFayette; daughters and sons-in-law, Terri (Max) Morrison of LaFayette and Renee (Arnold) Tarpley of Cleveland; brother and sister-in-law, Jerry (Myra) Wilhelm of LaFayette; two grandchildren and spouses, David (Sara) Morrison and Jennifer (Joe) Fuller; five grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral Mass of Resurrection from the St. Gerard Catholic Church Friday, December 19 at 2 p.m. with Father Bill Williams officiating. Interment will follow in the LaFayette Cemetery. Pallbearers are nephews.
Family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday, December 19 from 11 a.m.-1 p.m.
