Arlis Simmons, 79, of Pikeville, TN, died Tuesday, November 25, 2014 at his home.
He met no strangers and was a friend to everyone he met.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Sherman and Irene Simmons; and brothers, Joe and James Simmons.
Survivors include his sister, Jamie Dunn, Pikeville; sister- in-law, Willene Simmons; a good friend, Waymon Ferguson; several nieces and nephews; and a host of friends.
Services will be Sunday, November 30, at 2 p.m. CST in the funeral home chapel. The burial will be in Blackburn Cemetery.
Arrangements are by Putnam-Reed Funeral Home, Hwy 127 South, Pikeville, where visitation will be Saturday, November 29 from 2-9 p.m. CST.
