Chattanooga Goodwill Thanks The Community For Giving

  • Tuesday, November 25, 2014

For nearly a century, people of Southeast Tennessee and Northwest Georgia have generously and faithfully given gently used clothing and household items to benefit Chattanooga Goodwill Industries. Thanks to their support, we have helped thousands of people with disabilities find jobs, earn paychecks, learn job skills, receive free medical equipment and so much more.

One might think Goodwill is simply a place to donate items that are no longer needed or a great place to find an outstanding bargain. It is both of those things, and we are grateful for it. But Goodwill is truly more than that.

Thanks to your donations and purchases, Goodwill also means opportunity. This year we were able to offer a variety of opportunities to more than 9,000 people in 23 counties in Tennessee and Georgia.

As we consider our blessings this Thanksgiving, we at Goodwill want to remember the people who help us give hope and share opportunities to those who need it. Thank you, donors, shoppers and supporters, for believing in Chattanooga Goodwill Industries and our work. Thanks for giving.
