Mildred Odessie Crabtree, 77, of Summerville, Georgia, died on Sunday morning at her home.
Mrs. Crabtree was born November 9, 1937, in Summerville, the daughter of the late James and Respie Garmany Timmons. She was a member of Mountain View Baptist Church, was a homemaker, and was preceded in death by brothers, Melvin Timmons, Millard Timmons, and Edward Timmons.
Survivors include her husband, Bud Crabtree, sons, Tex Riley Tapp, James William Tapp, brother, Bernard Timmons, sisters, Delvie Reed and Dollie Lively.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 26, at the Mason Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend James Lackey and Reverend Jerry Wilkerson officiating. Interment will follow in the Oakhill Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be Arlie Timmons, Sherman Cooper, Tommy Cooper, Griffin Timmons, Clayton Cooper, and Alton Shaw.
Mrs. Crabtree will be in state at the Mason Funeral Home and the family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 25.
