The Dalton State Blue team defeated the Silver Wednesday night 58-44, but the game was fun all involved.

The second annual scrimmage gave fans a chance to see the 2014-2015 Roadrunners. But, for the record, the Blue’s Preston Earle, the senior from Charlotte, NC, had a game high 23 points. A couple of newcomers also scored in double digits. Isaiah Massey, a 6-8 senior from McDonough, GA by way of Louisiana Tech, scored 15. Jamaine Burrey, a 6-2 junior from Columbus, GA by way of Florida State Community College, added 10.

Senior Sean Tate from Canton, Ga changed his jersey number. The point guard, who now wears number 13, led silver scorers with 14 points.  Jordan Bowling, a 6-6 junior from Somerville, AL who came to us from Faulkner State Community College

After the game, fans had an opportunity to have schedule posters autographed and to have pictures made with players, coaches and cheerleaders.

The nationally ranked Roadrunners open the season on Monday, Nov. 10, against Life University in Marietta. Tip-off will be at 7:30 p.m.  The home opener will be on Tuesday, Nov. 11, as Erskine College visits for another 7:30 p.m. tip-off.
