Diana Wellman Appointed Director Of Conference Services For Chattanoogan Hotel

Diana Wellman has been named director of conference services for the Chattanoogan Hotel.  Tom Cupo, Benchmark Hospitality International’s regional managing director at the property, made the announcement. 

"I am very pleased to welcome Diana back to The Chattanoogan,” said Mr. Cupo.  “She brings important experience within the conference services discipline to our hotel, gained at numerous properties throughout the Benchmark organization.  She is also a great champion of Benchmark’s ‘Be The Difference’ service culture, which so important to our business.”

Ms. Wellman comes to her new role at the Chattanoogan with three decades of senior hospitality experience, spanning sales, conference services and catering.  For the past 10 years, Ms. Wellman also served as a member of Benchmark’s global task force team, assisting a number of Benchmark Hospitality properties, including Turtle Bay Resort in Hawaii, the Chattanoogan in Tennessee, Naples Bay Resort in Florida, Cheyenne Mountain Resort in Colorado, The Heldrich in New Jersey and Hotel Contessa in Texas.  Earlier in her career, Ms. Wellman and her husband owned and operated a guest ranch in Montana.  

Ms. Wellman is a graduate of New Hampshire Technical College.  She has relocated to Chattanooga.
