Judy Channells Johnson, 71, of Chattanooga, died on Monday, October 19, 2014 in a local health care facility. 

She was a faithful member of Lupton Drive Baptist Church where she taught Sunday School.

Judy was a senior member of the Civil Air Patrol where she served as a signing interpreter for the deaf. She was also a member of Big Brothers Big Sisters where she also used her signing skills.

Survivors include her son, Doyle Glenn (Rosita) Johnson; brother Bob Wozniak; sisters, Paula Seifer and Patricia Bailey; and her dear and special friend, Carol Roberts.

A memorial service will be announced at a later date.

Arrangements are by the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, Crematory and Florist, 5401 Highway 153, Hixson.
