Chattanooga Non Profit Helps Rebuild Churches After Japan Tsunami

  • Monday, October 13, 2014

R3 International is a Chattanooga based non profit. After the 2011 Tsunami in Japan, R3I sent several teams to assist with the clean up and rebuilding efforts, and had numerous local folks involved in the effort, including two young St. Elmo girls who sold lemonade to help raise money.

R3I has continued to stay involved in Japan, and recently was honored by the E. Free Church of Ishinomaki for the role R3I played in getting their church building completed.

R3I continues to work with Japanese church leaders in hopes of completing a second building, the Ishinomaki Christian Center, which would be a church and community center.
