Middle Valley Church of God, located at 1703 Thrasher Pike in Hixson, continues its adopted theme for 2012, "Involving Ourselves in 2012." This theme will guide all ministry efforts. In conjunction with this theme, Pastor Mitch McClure is preaching a new Christmas series of sermons titled, "He Is The Difference." Pastor McClure will speak on the topic "Move Me Closer To The Christ Child" in the 10:30 a.m. service on Sunday. The sermon will focus on the need for all individuals to move closer to Jesus Christ in the Christmas season.
In addition to the Sunday worship times, Sunday school is offered with classes for all age groupings at 9:30 a.m. each Sunday. As well, Family Training Hour is offered each Wednesday at 7 p.m. with classes for all age groupings.
Presently, Pastor McClure is leading a Bible study on the topic, "Where Is God?" This interactive study is conducted in the administrative classroom of the church. All are invited to participate in all the opportunities of Middle Valley Church of God.
