Children's Christmas Pageant At First-Centenary United Methodist

The children's Christmas Pageant will be presented on Sunday, in the 10:45 a.m. service at First-Centenary United Methodist Church, 410 McCallie Ave., accompanied by the fiddle band with favorite carols. Also on the program will be Sylvia and John Friedl, who will present "Fantasia on Greensleeves,"  the Chancel Ringers, and a piano duo of Pattye Jones and Sylvia Friedl.

Dr. Doug Fairbaks will speak at the 8:30 and 10:45 a.m. sanctuary services on "Judgment is Good News When," with text from Luke 3:7-18. The Rev. Brian Davis will speak at the 10:45 a.m. service in The Vine on "Polar Express: Learning to Be Dependent," with text from Philippians 4:10-13.

A Dessert Potluck for youth in grades 6-12 will be Wednesday, from 6-8 p.m. in the student center. There will be Christmas-themed games and door prizes. Food and drinks will be provided and youth are to bring a dessert and a $15 gift for a Chinese gift exchange.

On Saturday, Dec. 22, there will be a luncheon and Christmas communion service for members and guests with special needs. Call 756-2021 for more information.
