Erlanger Offers Classes And Events For Dec. 17 & 18

The Erlanger schedule of classes and events for Dec. 17 and 18 includes a Breastfeeding class and bariatric support meeting.   Registration is required.  For more information on our classes and events, call Erlanger HealthLink at 778-LINK (5465), Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. until midnight.  HealthLink Plus is a free membership program open to adults 18 and older.

This class is designed to help participants make an informed choice about breastfeeding.  Learn breastfeeding basics, what to expect the first few weeks and special tips for success.  Concerns about returning to work/school will also be discussed.  This course is coordinated by a board-certified lactation consultant.  Registration fee is $30.  Call Erlanger’s HealthLink at 778-LINK (5465) to register.

Professional Park Associates In LaFayette Hosts Drive-Thru Flu Vaccine Clinics

Professional Park Associates in LaFayette will host its 3rd annual drive-thru flu vaccine clinics in October.   A  Saturday  clinic has been added this year to help meet the needs of the community.  Three weekday clinics, as well as two evening clinics, will also be offered.   Regular flu vaccines will be available for ages 4 and up. Woman Stabbed To Death On Hooker Road; Man Injured; Suspect Being Interviewed

A young woman was stabbed to death on Hooker Road early Friday morning and a man was injured. At approximately 1:54 a.m., Chattanooga Police responded to a stabbing at the 4000 block of Hooker Road.
