Walnut Street Bridge To Serve As Key Feature Of IRONMAN 70.3 Chattanooga Race

Downtown Chattanooga is gearing up to host the IRONMAN 70.3 race this weekend, and the historic Walnut Street Bridge will play a central role. While the bridge is currently undergoing a scheduled renovation, access will be exclusively granted only to race participants, IRONMAN staff, race volunteers, and the Chattanooga Police Department to ensure the seamless and safe execution of the event. This weekend's IRONMAN 70.3, along with other planned events, received official sanctioning prior to the commencement of the bridge's necessary maintenance.
