Betty Elizabeth Blake
Betty Elizabeth Blake, 94, of Chattanooga, passed away peacefully surrounded by her girls.
Betty was of the Baptist faith. She was a member of the gossip committee. “Don’t you know it!”
She was preceded in death by her husband, Tommy Blake; one sister, three brothers and two grandchildren.
Survivors include her daughters, Eva Walker, Donette Sweat; son, Thomas “Leon” Blake; brother, Larry Buckner (Jean); seven grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren and 19 great-great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. on Friday, May 10, at Lane Funeral Home on Ashland Terrace. A graveside service will follow at 2 p.m. at Lakewood Memory Gardens East Cemetery.
