Virginia Lee Ford, 85, of East Ridge, Tennessee, passed away on Sunday, April 28, 2024.

Virginia was born in Knoxville, on Nov. 19, 1938, the daughter of the late Ben McPherson and Dorothy Horne McPherson. She was a homemaker and a past Grand Royal Matron, Order of Amaranth.

In addition to her parents, Virginia was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Ford; brother, Michael McPherson; and a sister, Ann Wilderman.

Survivors include her two sons, Mark Ford (Kandace) and Gordon Ford (Anna); daughter, Lea Ann Smalley; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and a sister, Sharon Justice.

A Celebration of Life will be on Saturday, May 4, at 12 p.m. at Heritage Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Lakewood Memory Garden, East.

Visitation will be on Friday from 4-8 p.m. and Saturday from 10 a.m. until the service hour at Heritage Funeral Home.
