Cleveland's Russell Dyer Is Finalist For Collierville Superintendent

Russell Dyer, director of the Cleveland Schools, is one of five finalists to replace the retiring superintendent at Collierville, Tn.

He previously worked for Collierville Schools as the district's first chief of staff. He was a principal at high schools and middle schools in Shelby County.

Other finalists are Wanda Creel, chief academic officer for Lee County Schools in Fort Myers, Fla.; John Green, who formerly was superintendent of Gwinnett County Public Schools; Jeff Jones, chief of staff for Collierville Schools, and Gary Lilly, director of schools for Bristol City Schools.
