Car Crashes Into Clubhouse At Grove Apartments

A car crashed into the clubhouse at the Grove Apartment complex at 1521 Hickory Valley Road Tuesday afternoon.

When firefighters arrived on scene they discovered a car had run through a fence and into the clubhouse building.

Firefighters helped the uninjured driver out of the car.

Witnesses said that the driver of the car backed into another vehicle and then drove forward through the fence that surrounded the swimming pool, and into the clubhouse building wall.

The car came to a stop at the laundry room for the apartment complex.

The vehicle was removed by a tow truck and the building was turned over to apartment management.

No injuries were reported. Chattanooga Police Department was on scene to assist.
