Junior Achievement of Chattanooga hosted “The BiG Game Show” Awards Dinner on Thursday evening at the Chattanooga Convention Center.
WSKZ-106 was recognized as the 2019 “Spirit of Achievement” Award honoree for advancing JA’s mission of inspiring and preparing young people to succeed in a global economy since 1991.
Blood Assurance, Unum and U.S. Xpress were honored with the “John G. Kain, IV Legacy” awards for volunteer impact in local classrooms during the 2018-2019 school year.
Felicia Lashley-Verrett and David Keller received the “Volunteer of the Year” awards and Matt Henson from Ooltewah High received the “Teacher of the Year” award.
