A woman told Chattanooga Police that she was getting off the interstate via the Moore Road exit from I-24 EB. She said she heard a loud thump, then continuous noise. She got out and observed that both of her passenger side tires had been blown out. She also said that it was due to the fact of a large pothole in the road on the exit ramp. Police said her damage was severe enough for her to have to call a tow truck

Another woman hit a pot hole in the middle of the road at 1100 Shallowford Road and blew a tire. A man said he hit a large hole on Shallowford near Talley that damaged his wheel. The responding officer noticed several other vehicles with flat tires in the area that seemed to be damaged from the hole in the road as well.

At 210 W 4th St., an officer made contact with Virgil Tucker, who was driving a semi truck and had hit an object in the roadway. It caused multiple flat tires.

A woman reported a stolen auto outside her home on Elinor Street in North Chattanooga. She said her black Honda CRV was stolen from in front of her house. The car has a Tennessee Alumni frame around the license plate. She said the prior week her house was broken into and her valet key was stolen and possibly her vehicle key that were located by the front door on a table. Police found the stolen vehicle the next morning on an empty lot. It appeared that the thieves had used marijuana while joy riding.

A man said his company delivery vehicle which was parked outside of his office on St. Elmo Avenue had been broken into. The vehicle's driver side window had been broken out. A Bunn frozen drink machine worth $2,000 was taken from the vehicle.

At a residence in the 4900 block of Highway 58 a woman said her brother was trying to leave and was demanding that a roommate of theirs blow into his "voluntary" ignition interlock system so that he could drive. The officer informed the man "that if he could not start his vehicle by himself, then he did not need to be driving."

A man said he left his vehicle unlocked and running with his iPhone 5s plugged in charging while he went inside the Dollar General on South Broad Street. When he came back outside his phone was gone. However, an iPhone 6 was left in its place.

A N. Highland Park Avenue resident said her vehicle was stolen from her driveway after she left the vehicle warming up with the keys in the ignition. It was later found abandoned at 2800 E Main St., but the keys could not be located. Police attempted to contact the owner but got her voice mail that said it was full.

A woman on Bridgewater Lane said she confirmed with the Post Office that two Amazon packages were delivered to her door step at around 3:30 p.m. When she got home later that night around 9 pm, she said the packages were not there. She didn't realize that they had been delivered until the next day when she got a delivery notice by email from Amazon.

An employee of a thrift store at 3723 Brainerd Road said a black male came into the store and used a counterfeit $100 to purchase two gold necklaces totaling $21.83. She gave him the change and then he left the store. After he left the employee looked at the $100 and noticed that it said "motion picture use only" on it.

Three young black males were observed selecting and concealing merchandise in a store backpack at Academy Sports on Gunbarrel Road. One of the subjects wore a ski mask the entire time in the store. They were stopped near the front door after they passed all points of sale and they dropped the items. They left in a gray Honda sedan.The dropped items were a Glock 19 Airsoft pistol, compressed air, backpack and several boxes of .40 cal ammunition, all totaling approx $350.

A man interviewed by police on Gunbarrel Road said he sold a used Iphone 7 to a female who identified herself as Ally Lynn. After receiving payment and giving her the phone he said he realized that the cash she paid with was fake. He confronted her, "but she blew him off" and left in a 2013 Ford Mustang. She was described as a blonde white female in her mid twenties, 5'6", 115 pounds, skinny with a sunken-in face.

At the Signal Mountain Road Walmart, a black female was observed on video rolling out approximately 12 Life Touch massage chairs in a shopping cart passing all points without paying. She was accompanied by a black male and an unknown third person driving an older white Toyota Camry with a drive out tag. The trio loaded the stolen items in the Camry and left. Other stolen items were also in the shopping cart but it is not known what else was taken.

Police discovered a stolen vehicle at 1811 E 14th St. While on routine patrol an officer found a 2017 Honda Pilot parked along the street. Chattanooga Police said they "have located multiple stolen vehicles from either in front or behind the 1800 block of E 4th St." The Pilot had been stolen out of East Ridge. The vehicle was locked and did not appear to have any new damage.

Police got a call about a bomb threat at an office on Chestnut Street. An employee said they received two emails stating that if they did not send $20.000 by the end of the work day then there would be a small explosive device (lead azide) that would detonate in the building. The employee said she decided to treat this threat as not real due to the fact that the same email has been sent to several area businesses.

A woman on Juniper Street said someone cut three of her tires and put what appears to be sugar and a candy bar in her gas receptacle. She said a new set of tires will cost about $400 and she did not know the damage caused to her gas tank.

The manager of the Sunglass Hut at Hamilton Place Mall showed an officer surveillance video of a white male wearing a purple shirt, blue jeans and an Atlanta Falcons hat. He came into the store placed a pair o f$340 sunglasses on his head and walked out of the store with them.

A woman on Oak Street said a man claimed he worked for Bank of America and could give her a loan for $15,000. He requested that she wire him $600 to Nigeria, $300 to Pennsylvania and $1,000 to California. She sent all the money, but she said the man continues to request money and has yet to send her the $15,000 loan she was promised.

A resident of Hickory Brook Road said she purchased two pug puppies (dogs) on a website from a man who identified himself as Kingsley Njei. She said he instructed her to send money by Western Union. She sent $400 and another $500. Then he said another $960 more was needed to load the dogs for shipment. Police said that "she did not send any more money because she started to realize that this was a scam."

A woman discussed with police a problem she is having with her husband's girlfriend, "Kelsei". She said she found out approximately three weeks earlier that her husband had been having an affair with a girl at work.The wife said she drives her husband to and from work because he does not have a valid drivers license. She said that morning that the girlfriend followed her for about half a mile with the bright lights on.
