Erlanger Health System Hires New Gastroenterology Doctor

Academic Gastroenterology has added Dr. Laxmi Parsa to its network of physicians. 
 
Dr. Parsa received his doctorate of medicine from St. Barnabas Hospital in Bronx, NY. He is fellowship trained in transplant hepatology, gastroenterology and hepatology. He completed his transplant hepatology training at The University of Tennessee Health Science Center, Methodist Transplant Institute in Memphis. He completed his gastroenterology and hepatology fellowship at The University of Tennessee Health Science Center as well. 
 
Dr.
Parsa is one of only two gastroenterologists in the region that specializes in hepatology. He is board certified and fellowship-trained in both gastroenterology and hepatology, with emphasis in hepatitis, fatty liver and sclerosis of the liver. He offers office hours at both Erlanger Baroness and Erlanger East Hospitals.
