Chattanooga State Sweeps Covenant JV In Volleyball Action

The Chattanooga State volleyball team went on the road to Covenant College playing their JV team Wednesday evening and came away with a 3-0 win over the Scots. The scores were 25-13, 25-20, 25-16.

 

The win evens the Lady Tigers’ record at 5-5 in their inaugural season. Kayla Wimpee and Sakari Pack led the front line with nine kills each, while Emily Redden and Dakota Rawiszer had 14 assists each.

 

According to head coach Janet Tate, “The girls really stayed focused throughout the match and played with great intensity.

We’re reall proud of their play all the way around tonight.”’’

 

Chattanooga State will travel to Cleveland State on Wednesday, September 19th, for their next match. First serve is set for 6 p.m.
