Gangster Disciple Member Arrested In 2 Shootings

Police have arrested Aaron Tyshawn Jackson in connection with two shootings after police said shell casings from both incidents matched.

Jackson, 19, of 4089 Arbor Place Lane, was charged with attempted first-degree murder, two counts of reckless endangerment, aggravated criminal trespass, aggravated assault, possession of drug paraphernalia and two counts of unlawful drug possession.

One incident involved the May 29 shooting of Keyshawn Kidd on S. Hawthorne Street.

Another was on May 1 at Sixth Avenue Court.

Kevin Bush was also charged in the Kidd shooting.

Police said both Jackson and Bush are members of the Gangster Disciples.

Jackson is being held on bonds totaling $700,000.
