Information Sought In Fatal Hit-And-Run Accident Last Month

Chattanooga Police traffic investigators are requesting assistance from the public in locating any possible witnesses to a fatal hit-and-run pedestrian crash that occurred on Highway 153 last month. The crash claimed the life of 51-year-old Jeffrey Randall Harris. 

It was reported to police that Mr. Harris was last seen around midnight on Thursday, July 26.
His body was discovered at approximately 2:15 p.m. on Saturday, July 28, 2018 in the 300 block area of southbound Highway 153. 

The Chattanooga Police Department encourages any witnesses or others who may have information regarding this incident to call (423) 698-2525 or submit a tip using the Chattanooga PD Mobile App. Even if someone thinks the information they have has no value, we encourage them to call. Please allow investigators to determine the value of that information. Tipsters can remain anonymous.
