Longtime WGOW Talk Radio personality Jeff Styles has been placed on leave after getting arrested for using a hatchet and getting shot during a road rage incident.

Station officials said, "Jeff Styles has been placed on leave while we conduct an internal investigation of the events that transpired on Friday, June 15th."

The incident happened on Highway 153 near Gwyn Road.

The other person involved, Nick Bullington, drove away before contacting police.

He said he fired a shot after Styles broke out the driver's side window with the tomahawk.

Lee Davis, attorney for the radio personality, said Bullington recklessly for some distance and displayed a gun in a threatening manner.
