Terence Poe, 24, Shot While In Vehicle On Kemp Drive

Chattanooga Police said a man was shot while in a vehicle on Kemp Drive on Monday night.
 
At approximately 7:59 p.m., police responded to the 200 block of Walker Street concerning a gunshot victim.
 
upon arrival officers located 24-year-old Terence Poe suffering from a non-life threatening gunshot wound.
 
The victim and witness to the shooting told police the shooting took place at 4400 Kemp Dr.
 
The victim was transported to a local hospital via Hamilton County EMS.
 
The victim told investigators that he was traveling in a vehicle on Kemp Drive when he noticed an unknown black male shooting at him. He said he drove away from the area to a location on Walker Street once he realized he was shot.
 
The witness was a passenger in the victim's vehicle and was not injured.
 
Members of the Violent Crimes Bureau are actively investigating the incident.
 
Chattanooga Police ask anyone with information regarding the incident to call 423-698-2525.
