New High Tech Outdoor Adventure Center Comes To Chattanooga

  • Friday, May 18, 2018

Adventure Sports Innovation is the brainchild of Carolina and Patrick Molloy, who relocated from New York to Chattanooga last year, in order to create this unique startup.

“Chattanooga is the ideal location to create ASI," said Ms. Molloy. "It will offer a combination of technical innovation and outdoor adventures. We live in a city that’s attracting entrepreneurs, and that’s also increasing the number of tourists and recreational visitors.”

ASI will provide hands-on access to the latest innovations in adventure sports, and outdoor experiences for land, water, and virtual reality. Residents and visitors will be able to experience the beautiful landscape of the Scenic City, with high tech, environmentally friendly, state-of-the-art gear, such as Swincar E-spiders, electric body boards, and electric unicycles, said officials.

"We’re working with manufacturers from across the globe, to bring a variety of experiences to Chattanooga this summer," said Mr. Molloy. "Our objective is to cater to adventurers that want to try innovative technologies for the outdoors."

ASI will open this summer with a storefront location at 191 River St., adjacent to Coolidge Park, where guests can learn about the various experiences for training, rentals, tours and virtual reality attractions that include a roller coaster design/simulator, and a hang gliding simulator.  Also, ASI will continuously add new products, attract inventors to Chattanooga, and create communities of early adopters.

Dedicated to community building, education, and innovation, Mr. and Ms. Molloy have been collaborating with many local businesses, organizations, and the city to define the best way to integrate ASI into the existing outdoor ecosystem.

The current landing page tells the ASI story and vision, while a full customer focused website is coming soon. For more information contact info@adventuresportsinnovation.com or visit www.AdventureSportsInnovation.com
