Mary Jo "Jody" Solis
Mary Jo “Jody” Solis, 80, of Chattanooga, passed away on Thursday, April 5, 2018.
She was born in Burnsville, Ms., to the late M.L. Epperson and Yvonne Crane Epperson. Jody was a nurse with Memorial Hospital and former member of Tyner UMC. She was a member of Christ UMC and the Good News Sunday School Class.
She was preceded in death by her husbands, Dr. F.W. Lawless and Joe M. Solis.
Survivors include her four children, Kim (Gary) Nichols, Ringgold, Keith (Pam) Youngblood, Chattanooga, Karl (Karen) Youngblood, Wetumpka, Al., and Jason (Gigi) Lawless, St. Louis; step-sons, Michael Solis, Atlanta, T.K. (Valentina) Solis, Houston, William Mark (Angie) Solis, Hixson; 13 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; sisters, Judy Pate, Searcy, AR and Jill (Larry) Pederson, Palatka, Fl.; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Monday, April 9, in the funeral home chapel with Reverend David Hall officiating. Interment will be in the Chattanooga National Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 3-6 p.m. on Sunday, April 8, and from 12:30 p.m. until service time on Monday, at Heritage Funeral Home, East Brainerd Road.
