Erlanger Health System spine surgeon, Dr. Vinkat Ganapathy, was accepted as faculty to AOSpine North America, an international community of spine surgeons.

AOSpine is an international group of spine surgeons "generating, distributing and exchanging knowledge to advance science and the spine care profession through research, education and community development."  With this collaborative approach AOSpine advances spine care worldwide. As part of his role in this international spine community, Dr.
Ganapathy will be involved in delivering lectures, moderating spine labs and serve as an instructor for future spine courses.

“It’s an honor to join the list of amazing faculty members and leaders in spine surgery who have taught and shaped me to be the surgeon I am now,” said Dr. Ganapathy.

Dr. Ganapathy is an orthopedic spine surgeon with Erlanger Neurosurgery and Spine. He was also selected in April by the American Orthopaedic Association to serve as associate editor of a national academic publication, the Journal of Bone and Joint Surgery.
