Premier Property Group Inc., a full-service real estate firm in Chattanooga, has grown from the vision of owner and principal broker Christi Doll to a team of 15 agents representing residential and commercial clients in Tennessee and Georgia in just four months. The firm is poised to continue rapid growth as 2018 begins and the real estate market continues to surpass expectations, said officials.

Ms. Doll opened Premier Property Group for business at One Park Place, an executive building on Lee Highway, on Aug. 1. She structured the firm to serve agents who work from home but want to operate under an umbrella company and desire access to an external office.

Premier Property Group offers its agents the support systems large franchises offer but charges none of the usual fees. "We're keeping things simple," Ms. Doll says. "There are no fees – no monthly or annual fees, no transaction fees, no franchise fees, no royalty fees and no copier fees. None, zero, zip."

Premier Property Group's revenue split with agents is just as straightforward. Each calendar year, agents keep 85 percent of their commission until they earn $50,000. They then retain 95 percent of their commission for the rest of the year.

To help agents run a successful business, Premier Property Group offers these tools – including training, broker availability, yard signs, business cards and Dotloop tools and services at no charge. Agents also have access to shared desk space, free Wi-Fi and printer use and parking.

Ms. Doll is continuing to grow Premier Property Group as 2018 begins on the heels of what was for many agents a record-setting 2017.

Last year, sales of existing homes rose about 3.5 percent to 5.64 million, according to the National Association of Realtors. The NAR predicts existing-home purchases will rise an additional 2.8 percent in 2018 to 5.8 million. Sales of new homes are expected to jump 8 percent from 620,000 in 2017 to 670,000 in 2018, according to the NAR.

"I'd like to have 25 to 35 agents who are great at what they do and stand by the code of ethics," Ms. Doll says. "I see Premier Property Group as a tightly knit family with people who like where they work."
