Fake News And Their Enemies

Wednesday, August 16, 2017

"The news has no enemies", are you kidding me.  What planet do you live on? I was a rabid CNN viewer, and I mean rabid viewer, as I traveled for my company for over 20 years.  So much so that I would not even check in at a hotel if I arrived and found they didn't carry that network.  Don't believe me, just ask my colleagues.

However, over the years they have abandoned delivering the news, and like MSNBC, ABC, NBC, CBS, and literally all mainstream networks have become nothing more than manipulators of the news. They have witnessed legislatures, governorships, and political control in over 35 states shift back to the right, and they're angry. So many news anchors passionately support left wing causes, and now feel that they have no choice but to to try to mislead rather than inform anymore because they are loosing at the ballot box.

Unlike these propagandists (they have long ago lost the right to be called "reporters"), Americans at large, not just our President, now view them as "fake news", because their bias is so pervasive and transparent  They don't understand that conservatives, and evangelicals in particular tipped the election to Trump, not because of the man, but because of his platform and promises. The main one being his promise to appoint Constitutional conservatives to lower federal courts and a divided Supreme Court.  He gave America a list of conservatives he would choose from to back it up, and so far he has kept that promise with the appointment of Neil Gorsuch to our highest court, and there will surely be more.

They didn't care if it was Donald Trump or Donald Duck, America is still mostly conservative and they could see our country being pulled toward the left by progressive ideologues with an agenda to legislate from the bench rather than the ballot box because the voice of the people was crying out for "Life", traditional morality, and less intrusive government.  Their voice was loud and clear, and the left (that offered a candidate America didn't like, trust, or believe) lost the election, and their chance to deliver their "death blow" to the traditional Judeo-Christian values established in our country by our forefathers. The left leaning media and progressives are still in shock and refuse to take their head out of the sand with every phony excuse they can think of for their defeat.

They lost, tradition won, the courts will now swing back to right, President Trump will prevail, and there is nothing the left or the mainstream press can say or do that will change that, for the next three to seven years to be sure. By then the die will have been cast for conservative control of the courts, and certainly our highest court for the next 40 years.  And you say "The news had no enemies," guess again.
