Karen D. Gass, 42, of Rising Fawn, lost her long and courageous battle with brain cancer on Wednesday morning, December 6, 2017. Karen was a loving mother and wife who lived life to its fulliest. She was a graduate of Northwest Georgia class of 1994 and worked as a surgical technician for Shire Facial Plastic Surgery in Chattanooga. Mrs. Gass was a member of Hope Church in Trenton, GA and she would remind us daily “God’s Got This.”
Preceded in death by her brother-in-law Jamie Gass.
Surviving include her loving husband of 24 years Mark Gass; sons Bailey and Christian “Bug” Gass; father and mother Roy and Marilyn Wallin; sisters Cynthia Wallin and Rachel (Eric) Nix; father-in-law James Gass; brother-in-laws Tim (Jennifer) Gass and Shane (Sandy) Gass; nieces Addison Howard, Luca Nix, Taylor Gass, Alyssa Gass, Sophie Gass, Melissa Gass and Amanda Dillard; nephews Luke Gass and Nick Gass; also other family and close friends.

Funeral services will be held 3 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 9 at the Trenton Baptist Church with Rev. Nathan Cravatt officiating. Interment will be at the October Farms Divide Resting Place, 4308 Cloverdale Road, Rising Fawn.
Family will receive friends from 4-9 p.m. on Thurday and 4-9 p.m. on Friday at the Ryan Funeral Home in Trenton and 1-3 p.m. on Saturday at the Trenton Baptist Church, Trenton.
