Held Long Career With Sears And Volunteered For Hospice Of Chattanooga

Teresa "Terry" Rose Mitchell Myers, 88, of Chattanooga, Tennessee, passed away on Wednesday, November 8, 2017.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, Robert Donald Myers, Sr.

Born in Memphis, and raised in Chattanooga, Terry was a long-standing parishioner of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church. She was a 25-year retiree of Sears and then worked as a volunteer at Hospice of Chattanooga for many years. She enjoyed her many friends and other alumni of Notre Dame High School and the University of Chattanooga.

She is survived by her three children, Alice M. Myles, Madelyn M. Leslie, and Robert Myers, as well as their spouses, Jim Myles, Tom Leslie, and Jo Myers, and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, Nov. 9, from 5-8 p.m. and Friday, Nov. 10, from 10 a.m.-12 p.m. at Chattanooga Funeral Home, East Chapel.

There will be a Funeral Mass Friday, Nov. 10, at 1 p.m. at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church, 501 South Moore Road, Chattanooga, Tn. 37412, with Father Charles Burton officiating.  Private family burial to follow at Mount Olivet Catholic Cemetery.
