Corderrius Bonner, 25, Shot Tuesday Evening

Officers with the Chattanooga Police Department responded on Tuesday evening to a local hospital concerning reports of a person shot. 

Chattanooga Police responded to the hospital where Corderrius Bonner, 25, arrived with a single non-life-threatening gunshot wound to his right lower leg. He had been transported via personal vehicle.

He told investigators he was walking along S. Kelly Street towards E. 12th Street when he heard gunshots. 

 Investigators are attempting to locate the crime scene location. At this time, no credible suspect information has been provided to investigators. 

 The Chattanooga Police Department's Violent Crimes Bureau continues to follow all leads.

Chattanooga Police ask anyone with information regarding this incident to call 423-698-2525.  The investigation is ongoing and more information will be released when available.
