Pilot Injured In Crash Of Small Plane In Rhea County

A pilot was injured in the crash of a small plane in Rhea County on Monday afternoon.

The plane went down in a large grassy area near a house at 1725 Walkertown Road, Dayton.

There was no one else aboard.

Part of a wing of the plane wound up stuck in a tree.

The pilot was taken by ambulance to a hospital.
