Motorcyclist Killed On Bonny Oaks Drive Early Sunday Morning

Norman Smith, 28, was killed Sunday morning in a motorcycle accident.

The Chattanooga Police Department Traffic Unit responded at 5 a.m. to 6500 Bonny Oaks Dr. on a traffic accident involving a motorcycle. The motorcycle was traveling westbound on Bonny Oaks Drive when the rider loss control and struck the guardrail. He was thrown and came to rest in the eastbound lane of traffic.

A vehicle traveling eastbound on Bonny Oaks Drive struck Mr. Smith. He was pronounced deceased on the scene.

Chattanooga Police Traffic investigators were working on determining the cause of the accident.
