Preston Lamar Howard, 66, of LaFayette, Georgia, passed away Saturday, April 2, 2016.
Preston was a veteran of the U.S. Army and drove a truck for 25 years with U.S. Express.
Preston was preceded in death by his parents, Wilton Preston Howard and Thelma Booker Howard; step-son, Timmy “Tim” Glenn; grandson, Jacob Glenn; and grandparents, Hommer and Lillie Mae Booker and Calvin Howard and Dela Durden.
Preston is survived by his wife of 37 years, Sue Elders Howard; sons, Shaun Howard Ted (Lynn) Glenn and Jimmy Glenn; brothers, Ron (Judy) Howard and James (Deborah) Howard; ten grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral from the Wallis Memorial Chapel willbe Monday, April 4, at 2 p.m. with Pastor Chris Spears officiating. Interment will be in the LaFayette City Cemetery.
Family will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday, April 3, from 5-9 p.m.
