Barn Fire On Harrison Pike Under Investigation

Chattanooga firefighters responded to a barn fire at 2882 Harrison Pike around 9:30 a.m. on Friday.

The old barn is on city property, at the South Chickamauga Creek Greenway.

Firefighters with five fire companies used hand-held hoselines inside and outside the barn and got the fire under control in roughly 15 minutes. No injuries were reported.

An estimate on the dollar loss was not available. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
