It has been my privilege and honor to have known Tom Greenholtz for half of my life. I know no finer person, no superior intellect, and no greater generosity of one’s self than can be found in Tom Greenholtz.
Tom is humble, and he has never been one to seek publicity or prestige. To the contrary, he has worked quietly in the community, trying to do his part to make it a better place. Whether it has been in his work as a teacher of Constitutional Law at UTC, or in his roles working with Orange Grove, the Chambliss Center, or the United Way, Tom has believed strongly in the ideal that one should place service before self. This characteristic is important in all of our elected officials, but particularly our judges---Tom has not sought to be a judge for any other reason than the opportunity to do help improve things for the community.
Let us take this opportunity to keep a good and strong person on the bench. Tom is a once in a generation man, and we should all support his election.
