A man was shot on Tunnel Boulevard Wednesday.
Chattanooga Police responded to the 1000 block of Tunnel Boulevard at 11:54 on the report of a person shot. Police located Ishmeal Simmons, 26, suffering from a graze wound.
Simmons said that a man in a brown van had shot at him.
His injuries were minor and did not require medical treatment. Due to the minor nature of his injury, the cause can not be determined. The suspect is described as a black man in his sixties.
Chattanooga Police ask anyone with information regarding this crime to call 423 698-2525. The investigation is ongoing and more information will be released when available.
