Emissions Testing Stations Now Able To Transmit Data To County Clerk's Office

  • Tuesday, February 23, 2016

County Clerk Bill Knowles said that all Hamilton County emission testing stations are now transmitting test data to his office.

The state emission test centers lost the ability to transmit data to clerk offices last Friday. All test compliance data was preserved and motorists have been able to renew registrations by visiting the tag office.

Mr. Knowles said, “I’m pleased that Hamilton County motorists are now able to access www.countycleranytime.com, the tags-by-internet option introduced by our office in 2005.

I appreciate Nashville’s Stephen Foster lll, program manager for the State Air Pollution project and his Opus Inspection team for their diligent work to resolve the problem.”
