Recording artist and songwriter Amber Hayes will perform at Puckett’s Chattanooga on Saturday, March 12. Bill DiLuigi and Mark Kelly Hall will join her in a Nashville-style writers round format.

The music, a mix of contemporary and traditional country and Americana, starts at 9 p.m., and admission is $12 per person. Puckett's is located next to the Tennessee Aquarium. Free valet parking is available. Reservations are highly recommended; call 708-8505 or go to puckettsgro.com/chattanooga.

Review for Amber Hayes:
You may have seen and heard Hayes performing with Lonestar’s Richie McDonald in the 2012 film Cowgirls 'N Angels or doing her rendition of “Cotton Eyed Joe” in the 2014 sequel. She not only played the singer, she was the singer in both cases, and wrote several songs for both films.

Perhaps you’ve heard her radio releases “C’mon” or “Any Day Is a Good Day” (her top 30 single written with DiLuigi and sometime Chattanoogan J.P. Williams). If you travel, maybe you’ve caught her on a visit to a radio station promoting her latest release, or seen her portray Kathy Twitty in the national tour of the theatrical production, Conway Twitty: The Man, the Music, the Legend…the Musical.

You might have run into Hayes at the White House in 2014, as she was there to see her uncle receive the Medal of Honor (the inspiration for her song “Hero’s Heart”). And if you really get around you may even have enjoyed her performances in China, Japan, Sweden and elsewhere. But no matter far she has roamed, she has never lost touch with her roots. You can take this girl out of the country, but you’d have a hard time separating Hayes from the country music traditions she learned to appreciate growing up in Weleetka, Ok.

Review for Bill DiLuigi:

DiLuigi (a.k.a. Bill D) is a staff writer at Rhyme Partners in Nashville whose credentials include several songs in the Billboard, Americana, and Music Row Top 100 charts, and a Top 10 hit in Australia (“Manhunt,” recorded by Christie Lamb). His songs have also made it to the screen, with placements in film (including the aforementioned Cowgirls 'N Angels franchise) and TV (“Single Ladies,” “Hart Of Dixie,” “The Young and The Restless”). He is a Covenant Award Winner (Canada's Dove Award). His book A Monkey Manual for Songwriters has been endorsed by NSAI chapters internationally as an effective teaching tool. The New Jersey native says "I feel blessed to wake up every day and play with words for a living. Life is good."

Review for Mark Kelly Hall:

Hall is originally from the Chattanooga area and now based in Nashville. His songs offer a blend of storytelling, insight and humor from a spiritual worldview that is always present but seldom preachy, packaged in songs that best fit under the Americana genre umbrella. Stylistically, he'd like to think his music is akin to that of Jim Croce, James Taylor and Jackson Browne, but he’s not beyond doing an Archies tune.
