  • Wednesday, October 19, 2016

The Chattanooga Chamber of Commerce will host Young Innovators at a Show-and-Tell Oct. 26 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at TechTown.

This event welcomes fourth to 12-grade students from Normal Park Museum Magnet, Chattanooga School for the Arts and Science, STEM School Chattanooga, Red Bank High School, Chattanooga Girls Leadership Academy and Chattanooga Christian School.  These students submitted innovative ideas ranging from community solar power initiatives, weather and water quality gadgets and a lunchroom idea for facilitating friendships.

The 2016 Young Innovator Award, presented by Office Depot, awards finalist status to three students in each of three categories: elementary, middle and high school. One winner in each category will be announced at the Chamber’s Nov. 9 Spirit of Innovation event.

All Show-and-Tell attendees will have the opportunity to cast a vote for A People's Choice recognition at the conclusion of this event.
